Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - Christmas Wishes

Well I managed to get one more in! Don't forget the {BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2024 Linky Party ends tomorrow night at midnight!

Another digital image that was just waiting for some love! This one is from Angie Blom Digital Designs and it's called Blessings Poinsettia.

I colored the printed image with my Tombow ABT Markers. I did not print onto watercolor paper so these are just straight colored! Easy peasy! I tried to match the reds and greens to the background paper I grabbed. It is from PhotoPlay and it's called It's A Wonderful Christmas. I die cut both panels using the scallops and arches nesting dies from Unity Stamp Co.  To that I added some clear dew drops to simulate water droplets on the poinsettia petals. Some red burlap twine and foam adhesive to finish it off!

Don't forget the link will close at midnight tomorrow!!

Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - O Holy Night

Trying to sneak in a few more before the{BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2024 Linky Party closes tomorrow night!

Back to the scrap bin I went! Dug out the previously embossed plaid background panel. It may be a little crooked, but I don't think the baby Jesus will mind!

Again I used Lisa Arana's technique of ink blending over the stencil to get the ink only in the center. From my observation, and certainly not the expert on this, but I will from now on die cut it first, then ink blend...THEN stamp the image! While I think this is fine, I feel like the black may smear or become dull from the ink. Personal observation! I used the scallops and circles nesting die set, the Snowflake Elegance paper pack and the All is Calm stamp set, all from Unity Stamp Co. The embossing folder was in a Whit Kit but doesn't appear to be available. Blue enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs!

Spring into Christmas {BYSHC} 2024 Linky Party - Stay Cozy

In keeping with the treasures from the scrap bin I bring you my next card! {BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2024 Linky Party ends tomorrow! Be sure to get your entries in before Midnight tomorrow!!

My card today consists of several scraps that just happened to coordinate!

The purple background paper was embossed with a darice snowflake embossing folder, the scalloped panel on top of that is a scrap of a ink smooshed panel that has had a snowflake background stamp (called Snowflake Frenzy from Unity Stamp Co.) applied with some versamark embossing ink and white embossing powder. It was die cut with a die from the scallops and rectangle nesting die set from Unity Stamp Co. I added some white bakers twine (directly from the grocery store...next to the turkey) and a snowflake charm. The purple circle had the center cut out of it and was kept as a possible save....which I did with adding a white die cut circle with the sentiment stamped inside. The scallops and circles nesting dies and the sentiment are all from Unity Stamp Co. The charm I have had forever and the white enamel dots are, of course, from Gina Marie Designs.

Be sure to get your entries in before the link closes at midnight tomorrow night!

Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - Joy

Hello again! I have two cards in one day?!?! How did that happen?! {BYSHC} are still accepting entries until Friday at Midnight! Be sure to get your entries in to be eligible for some amazing prizes!

My next card features an image from sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. There are two images in this set called Joy and Noel

This was another one of those images that was sitting in the "scrap" bin waiting to be given some love! I used my Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils on this one. I literally kept coloring and water-ing until I liked the coloring! I added some black dots to the "Y" to match the "J".  The background patterned paper is from a recently acquired pad from PhotoPlay called It's a Wonderful Christmas! The "JOY" image was already torn so I followed suit with the bluish/green panel. I distressed the edges a little bit with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. I also added some white bakers twine and some foam tape to give it some dimension. The white enamel dots are perfect for this and come to you from Gina Marie Designs.

Be sure to link up your entries before Midnight on Friday the 26th! Also check out the sponsored prize list as well! Lots and lots of great prizes!!

{BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2024 Linky Party - Oh Christmas Tree

Hello again and welcome back! {BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2024 Linky Party is coming into the last few days!

Today's entry didn't go exactly as I had planned, but you make it work!! I started with several scraps (the diagonal stripe and the green)! I also wanted to incorporate a Unity Stamp Co. Membership kit because it is #unitymembershipmakes Wednesday! These two stamps are both from the September 2015 Kit of the Month called Our Hearts to Yours. I stamped onto white cardstock with Black VersaFine Clair ink. Colored in with my Tombow ABT Markers. After coloring I added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer in Midas Touch to the stars and ornaments. Enamel dots are from Gina Marie Designs.

you can kind of see the shimmer!

Be sure to check out the sponsor list on the {BYSHC} Blog and get your entries in! There are a lot of GREAT prizes to be given away!

{BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2024 Linky Party - Heart of Christmas

Hello again! {BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2024 Linky Party is still at hand! I am going through the "save for later" bin and creating cards that wouldn't have been before! :)

Not sure why this stamped snowflake heart was put into the save bin!

I had previously saved a picture of a card from the Unity Stamp Co. website for this particular stamp and thought I would recreate it as best as I could! Lisa Arana created the original, I hope my card is close!! The stamped image is from Unity Stamp Co. called Heart of Christmas. I stamped with versamark embossing ink and used gina k designs white embossing powder. Die cut with the scallops and squares nesting dies, also from Unity. I then distressed the edges a big with some vintage photo distress oxide. The patterned paper came from a pack I just got at the Scrapbook Expo a couple weekends ago and it was perfect! It comes from PhotoPlay called It's a Wonderful Christmas. I added some white bakers twine and some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs. The sentiment was cut from a digital print from Angie Blom Digital Designs! Lots of sponsors getting love in this card!

Be sure to check out the list of sponsors on the {BYSHC} Blog for more details and be sure to get your cards posted before it's all over!!

{BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2024 Linky Party - O Holy Night!

Hello again and welcome back! The Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party is happening!

Today's card features a few of the amazing sponsors, Unity Stamp Co., Gina Marie Designs and Tawny Owl Papiere!

As I've said before, I'm going through the discard bins and pulling things together that have been set aside for just the right time! I know you have one.....we all do!! This stamp is a Unity Stamp Co. Itty Bitty stamp called Brightly Shining! It's a sweet little tree shaped sentiment that is a perfect focal point! First I die cut the circle with one of  the scallops and circles nesting dies from Unity and tried a new-to-me technique that has been featured in a video by Lisa Arana on the Unity Blog to use the die as a guide to ink blend!! I absolutely love it and can see me doing this A LOT! After it was die cut, I ink blended with Antique Linen and then stamped the image with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne. I had this idea in my head about the background. I had recently acquired some Hero Arts texture paste in white pearl and wanted to give it a try! Onto a dark blue piece of patterned paper I used a random dot stencil (I think it was Unity but I don't see it on their website currently) and the white pearl texture paste and created a "starry" background! After I used the paste I thought it needed more.....so I *gasp* sprinkled fine glitter over it! :| Oh boy! It did get a little out of hand, but not terrible! LOL I chose a sketch from Tawny Owl Papiere Inky Inspiration. I love a good sketch and she does post a sketch quite often! So I found a sketch that would work with my circle and cut the background panel per the measurements! I added some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and we're finished! Not exactly what I had pictured in my mind, but I do love it nonetheless!

Sketch #3 for TOPII
Be sure to check out the sponsor list and the amazing prizes they are offering! So EXCITING!!
